Relaxed vehicle pickup at the port. We had a new Fiat Pandina with comprehensive insurance. Everything went perfectly. The staff were always available and very friendly.We highly recommend them.
This was my first time in Crete, and I researched reliable car rental companies beforehand. TheBestCars was repeatedly recommended in many forums, particularly because of their optional gravel road insurance. That's why I chose them. All the rental terms and conditions are clearly displayed on their website, and almost everything is explained there. The service was excellent, they offered comprehensive insurance with no excess, no credit card required, and, something I'd never heard of before, the option of gravel road insurance. This gave me peace of mind. From the very first contact, they were incredibly friendly and responded quickly to emails. We received a very warm welcome on-site, complete with two cold drinks. Our luggage was loaded into the car for us, and the car (a Dacia Sandero Stepway) was spotlessly clean and in excellent condition. Since everything was included, there was no discussion about insurance or any minor scratches. Returning the car was just as easy. We were greeted warmly again, handed over the fuel receipt, and that was it – completely stress-free. This is how a holiday with a rental car should be. The team at Best Cars could not have been more helpful and efficient. They waited for our late arrival and then processed everything and sent us on our way within 5 minutes (and the cars are only 2 mins walk from the airport exit). Excellent car rental service in Crete, right at the airport. Contact via email and phone through Martin (German-speaking) was seamless. Everything was explained very clearly at the handover. We rented a car for 13 days. On Crete, you can drive cheaply on gas for about one euro.We can highly recommend them. We would definitely use them again!
Great experience. Paid cash. No deposit. Full insurance. Easy drop off. Only issue was tank was 1/8 full when picked up. But otherwise perfect
