I rented a car from The Best Cars for three weeks in the summer of 2026 and was very satisfied.The handover at the airport was organized by a very friendly employee and went smoothly. Returning the car was also easy and straightforward. The car was in good, well-maintained condition.Overall, the entire process was very pleasant and hassle-free. I would definitely use The Best Cars again.

In August, I rented a car from one of the few companies with gravel insurance to go to Balos.No deductible, but they gave me a Dacia Duster that started smoking after less than 10 km. They gave me a second one, which I kept until the end of the rental, but it didn't brake; the discs and pads needed replacing. I was in fear until the end of the rental.They don't do maintenance!
Want to fully explore Crete, you need to be able to drive on gravel roads. None of the big car rental places would give us coverage to do that, but Best Cars did!
Excellent rental agency. We rented a small Peugeot over six months before our holiday at Heraklion airport. Despite a flight delay, they were waiting for us. The car was in very good condition, clean, and had a full tank of gas, which saved us the stress of quickly finding a gas station. There were no problems returning it.
Top-notch car rental company. We had a nearly new Fiat Panda for 14 days. Everything ran smoothly on-site, and they delivered on all promises. Highly recommended!
Super friendly, professional, relaxed, and really good rental conditions! I spent a long time searching online to avoid the usual pitfalls (e.g., additional, very expensive insurance that's then pushed on you on site). That's absolutely not the case here. Comprehensive insurance was included, and everything was clearly communicated beforehand. I can only recommend them to anyone who wants to rent a car in Heraklion!
